Estonian Woodworking Federation is a non-profit association established in 1991, uniting the enterprises, which are involved in woodworking, furniture manufacturing and sale. At the same time are joined the enterprises, which as well manufacture, mediate and sell equipment and materials for this field of activity as the job training centres, which train the personnel for Furniture Sector. The most part among member-ship companies formed by furniture manufacturers. Estonian Woodworking Federation, which is active in Forest Complex, is an union of employers, financed mostly by member-ship fees, offers an information about the sector of furniture manufacturing and wood processing, has been as a forum of industrial sector where will be discussed common problems, arranges a co-operation with Estonian Confederation of Employers and Industry and the government offices to wake up the stands of employers and problems, which must be to solved on the level of government or statute. Arranges a co-operation with trainers of labour force and specialists, unions of employees (trade unions), which are acting in a wood sector.. |
