The Austrian furniture industry is a branch of the Association of the Austrian Wood Industries. We serve as a platform for our members and as a source of information for all who are interested in Austrian furniture. Our team constructs networks between our producers and establishes contacts among planners, architects and customers.
Our duties and aims:
We help customers searching for the appropriate producers and inform them about the multitude of furniture offered by our member enterprises.
On our website, we inform designers and architects about news and trends concerning Austrian furniture.
For our member enterprises, we offer – among others – the following efforts:
Lobbying at all levels, especially in the sectors industrial law, environmental policy, education, research, competitiveness as well as subventions.
As a member of the UEA as well as of the European Confederation of Woodworking Industries we contribute actively on EU-level to the construction of the frame conditions for our members. We support our member enterprises in matters of export activities and research for cooperation partners, we establish statistics and market surveys.
Furthermore we take over the PR for our members, we serve as an addressee for press and media and support the exchange of information and experience within the Austrian furniture industry.
