Business was brisk with exhibitors reporting a reassuring number of on site orders.



The Show still has a loyal following amongst buyers and many were present at this year's show including DFS, Cousins, Tesco, AIS, Next, AHF, Hafren Furnishers, Coles Home Furnishers, Fenwicks, Harvey Norman, Multiyork, Lucas World of Furniture, Minerva Furnishers Guild, Reid Furniture, Sterling Furniture and Vaseys.



Show Director Theresa Raymond said "We are delighted with the strong attendance at this year's show.  Many of our exhibitors were anticipating a reluctance on the part of buyers to attend the show.  But we and they were pleasantly surprised, particularly as the calibre of visitors was so high."



The re-vamp of Manchester Central has already begun and this multi million pound project is due to take 3 years and will include a new exhibition hall as well as new restaurant facilities.



In 2009 the show will run from 19-22 July and already over 60% of the space has been booked by exhibitors.
