While this year’s number of exhibitor bookings registered with Furnifab event organizer, Survey Marketing + Consulting Sp. z o.o. (Poznań), is slightly down on last year in light of the tense mood in the industry, nevertheless visitors can expect a valuable trade show experience of the usual high quality and diverse product portfolio. Furnifab exhibitors in Poznań are set to offer their creative design concepts and new developments in technology. As well as classic product segments, such as covering materials, semi-finished components, upholstery and coated materials, fillings and cushions, fabrics, micro-fiber materials, and natural and imitation leather, Furnifab 2009 also features new product groups, such as foam rubber and plastic foams, felt, mattress ticking, upholstery blanks, spring systems and components including spring cores, elastic springs and spiral nets, upholstery frames, furniture casters, sewing threads, as well as sewing and cutting machines and the related software.



Emphasizing the key role of the trade fair, Iwona Cerba, the Director of Furnifab based in Poznań, points out: “In view of the difficult situation in the furniture textiles market, the supplier industry is focusing on its expertise in design, the use of technology and product quality. Since its launch in 2003, Furnifab has developed into a respected B2B show for the seating and upholstered furniture industry in Poland and Eastern and Central Europe. As a volume-led show, the target group for Furnifab is mostly decision-makers in purchasing, design and product management. The show’s visitor catchment area now extends from Poland and the Baltic States through Russia, Germany, and the Benelux countries and down to Southern Europe.
