Although the new autumn date had not been projected in the first place, the new timing now turns out to be just perfect: Furnifab in November is scheduled in the run-up to eight of the most important furniture fairs in Poland as well as Central and Eastern Europe, the imm cologne/Germany (18–24 January 2010), the Furniture Poland in Poznań/Poland (16–19 February 2010), the MTM Ostroda/Poland (March 2010), the Furniture Fair Brno/Czech Republic (10–14 March 2010), the Furniture Fair Kiev/Ukraine (10–13 March 2010), the Furniture Fair Nitra/Slovakia (March 2010), the Furniture Fair Vilnius/Lithuania (25–28 March 2010) and the M.O.W. in Bad Salzuflen/Germany (25–28 April 2009).



Presence of important decision-makers



At Furnifab exhibitors will present their products to the important furniture producers from Poland and Central Europe – at the right time and in the right place. The event, initiated in 2003, has gained the reputation of one of the most popular B2B fairs for the suppliers for the upholstery and seating furniture industries from Poland and Central-East European countries over the years. The indstry appreciates Furnifab as the ideal venue for effective communication and good business. The main target group of Furnifab are professionals with decision-making competences from the top management, purchase, design and product management departments. That makes Furnifab the international meeting point for the sector’s professionals: At present, the Furnifab fair is visited by experts from Poland, the Baltic countries, Russia, Germany, the Benelux countries and sourthern Europe.

During the spring edition earlier this year, 75 companies from 11 countries presented the latest acheivements of the suppliers to the upholstery and seating furniture industry at the Poznań International Fair MTP. Despite the difficult market situation the Furnifab exhibitors considered the branch specialists’ interest and presence to have been very satisfactory: In March the fair was visited by 2,800 representatives of the furniture branch from Poland and abroad.



Show with a wide range of products 



A versatile offer, creative design ideas and new technological solutions are presented at the Furnifab fair. Beside product segments such as cover materials, semi-finished products, upholstery and laminated materials, inlets and cushions, fabrics, microfiber materials and natural and artificial leather, Furnifab also comprises product groups like foam rubber and expanded plastics, felts, mattress ticking, upholstery blanks, spring units, upholstery frames, spring bases, spring cores, spiral nets, furniture wheels, threads for sewing, sewing machines, and machines and software for cutting.

Consequently, the Furnifab as an international specialist platform in autumn may function as an important source of new impulses for the industry when preparing for the big furniture fairs in spring.
