Behind the initiative are Formex and Stockholm International Fairs who want to bring Stockholm and Swedish design on to the international stage and attract more visitors to Formex. The public will be offered a design-packed week with a wide range of activities in shops and showrooms going on all at the same time.



Formex Friends will be held in August every year in association with Formex, Scandinavia’s leading trade fair in decor, design and giftware. In many ways Formex Friends will be similar to Stockholm Design Week held in February in conjunction with the Stockholm Furniture Fair and the Northern Light Fair, during which about fifty different design events take place at various locations around the city.
